If you are in an application where you are typing and a word is underlined because it is misspelled you can check for the correct spelling by:
Holding down the Control key on your keyboard and click on the word.
You will get a drop down menu with options for the correct spelling of that word.
This can be used in Email, Word and Kidpix.
In Word you can Control - Click on any word, a drop down menu will give you the option Look Up to Definition.
This opens a window with the definition of the word.
